Loud. Friendly. Proud.

“We want the piece to reflect what makes Leeds such a vibrant and cool city to live and work in.”

That was the brief from the brilliant team at HGF, based in the heart of Leeds.

This wasn’t a standard mural – it had to work around a series of framed images celebrating the city. My job was to visually link those frames together, using a hybrid of my two

illustration styles and adding playful moments where the mural physically interacts with the frames.

A month of long days, but well worth it. I loved working with Jacqui and the HGF team, and I’m chuffed with the end result.
