Bringing Hope to Life
‘Hope is everything. A feeling of expectation. A desire for something positive to spring forward. Hope may blossom into something beautiful.’
When asked to come up with a mural that explored this, I obviously jumped at the chance. But this was no ordinary mural – with the clever use of “projection mapping” it was brought to life!
This was a real time exhibition spread over 3 days, allowing people to see it evolve as I was inking. By pre-tracking where I was going to ink, the production company I worked with were able to predetermine exactly where flooding colours, butterflies and birds were going to interact with the mural.
It was a great experience working with such an amazing bunch of creative people. You could say, the experience gave me butterflies.
